2022 Summer SPAR Recreation Slow-Pitch Girls’ Softball Leagues

1.) Registration Dates and Details

• Regular Registration Duration = Monday May 23, 2022 – Thursday June 16, 2022
• Late Registration Duration = Friday June 17, 2022 – Thursday June 23, 2022
• Late Pool or Waiting List Registration Duration = Friday June 24, 2022 – Thursday June 30, 2022
  • * This is a waiting list registration period where we except, in person registration, only.
  • * Registrants are not guaranteed to be placed on aa team.
  • *If and or when a late registrant is placed on a team, it will be based on the order of need and the number of total players on each team, at that time.

2.) Draft Talent Level Showcase Date and Details

• Girls’ Ages (8-10); (11-14) and (15-18) – All Age Cut Off Dates are, as of before December 1, 2021
• Monday June 27, 2022 From: 5:00PM To: 6:30PM
  Each Age Group Division will be directed to its own field (TBA).

3.) Drafts Date and Details

• Girls’ of All Age Divisions (8-10); (11-14) and (15-18)
• Tuesday June 28, 2022 From: 5:00PM To: 7:00PM, as needed. * These Drafts will take place inside of the SPAR Board Meeting Rooms #117 and #118.

4.) Practice Starting Date

• Girls’ Teams of All Age Divisions (8-10); (11-14) and (15-18)
• Thursday June 30, 2022 * All of our practices will be scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

5.) League Games Starting Date

• We will play Four (4) Weeks of Regular Season Double Headers;
• Each Team will be Seeded and Two (2) Weeks of a Double Elimination Post Season Tournament.
• Girls’ Teams of All Age Divisions (8-10); (11-14) and (15-18)
• Week #1 Monday July 11, and Tuesday July 12, 2022
• * All of our games will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays, through Week #6 Monday August 1, and Tuesday August 2, 2022.

6.) Scheduled Rain-Out Dates

• Girls’ Teams of All Age Divisions (8-10); (11-14) and (15-18)
• Rain-Out Date #1 = Saturday July 16, 2022 * Each of our rain-out dates are scheduled on Saturday Mornings.
• Rain-Out Date #2 = Saturday July 23, 2022 * Each of our rain-out dates are scheduled on Saturday Mornings.

Each Age Group Division will be directed to its own area or room (TBA). * These Drafts will take place inside of the SPAR Board Meeting Rooms #117 and #118 and other areas of the facility.

9.) Practice Starting Date

• Teams of All Age Divisions – Youth: Flag Football = Ages (7 & 8); Flag Football = Ages (9 & 10) and Contact / Tackle Football = Ages (11 & 12) The Starting Practice Date is on Thursday September 1, 2022

10.) Game Starting Date

• Teams of All Age Divisions – Youth: Flag Football = Ages (7 & 8); Flag Football = Ages (9 & 10) and Contact / Tackle Football = Ages (11 & 12)
• The Starting Games Date is From: Monday September 26, 2022 To: Thursday November 17, 2022
• During the Regular Season each League Game will be shortened a little to allow us to play Three (3) Games on each field, per night, instead of only playing Two (2) or in some cases, even One (1).
• All Practices will be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• All Non-Rain-Out Games will be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• All Rain-Out Games have already been scheduled on designated Saturday Mornings, as needed. The rain-out lineup would remain in the same order and the field numbers could possibly change.
