Bergen Catholic finishes 2021 with a perfect 12-0 record and a New Jersey Non-Public A state championship. Saturday afternoon, the Crusaders, ranked No. 4 in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football, won the championship by beating arch-rival Don Bosco Prep 28-7 at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New Jersey Jets.
DBP, ranked No. 84 nationally at game time, scored first, but after that it was all BC.

Ryan Butler and Saeed St. Fleur led a powerful ground game. Butler scored two touchdowns with 124 yards rushing. St. Fleur carried the ball nine times for 120 yards.
