Flag football tournament uninvites teams from outside New England

Bradshaw said he called teams from New York and New Jersey and told them they could no longer come. “So, we have to reach out to those teams,” Bradshaw said. “They’re a little bummed. We have to redo the schedule, but you know, it is what it is. We have to follow all the rules and do what’s right for everybody.”Officials with the Attorney General’s Office said they have received complaints about hockey, lacrosse and indoor soccer events, but so far, they have issued letters and said people have complied with the rules.”I think the guidelines that we’ve put together are very, very good,” said Gov. Chris Sununu. “We just need to kind of stay right on top of them, make sure people understand not just what they are, but how to manage them.” Officials with the Attorney General’s Office said they are looking into a Lakes Region flag football event where coaches were huddling, which is not allowed.In a Facebook post, the Lakes Region Flag Football League wrote in part, “This morning we spoke with the NH attorney general, as there was one complaint about our league brought to them. Upon completion of their investigation and our conversation, we were told we were doing as well as we can be during these times.”
