Youth flag football registration ongoing
Local boys and girls in first- through eighth-grade are eligible to participate in Portsmouth Youth Flag Football.
This NFL Flag Football program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning skills, teamwork and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field.

Rogers Hall of Fame ceremony postponed
The Rogers High School Athletic Hall of Fame has postponed its induction ceremony and dinner for its 2020 inductees due to COVID-19 restrictions. The tentative date of the ceremony has been switched to Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Easton’s Beach Rotunda.
Middletown fall youth soccer signups ongoing
Registration is now open for the Middletown Youth Soccer Club Fall recreational season. Children ages 4 to 14 can be registered at www.MiddletownYouthSoccer.org.
Portsmouth Hall of Fame ceremony canceled
The 2020 Portsmouth High School Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony scheduled to be held Oct. 10 at the Green Valley Country Club has been canceled due to COVID-19 limitations. This year’s honorees instead will be honored with next year’s new group of athletes in a ceremony tentatively scheduled for Oct. 9, 2021.
