BASKETBALL
Autism clinic
Home Team Sports and Entertainment will host a free autism awareness basketball clinic from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday at Wildwood Middle School in Shenandoah Junction.
No registration is necessary.
Girls clinic
Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation will be offering a Girls Outdoor Basketball Clinic for girls ages 6-9, as of July 18.
The clinic will take place from 9:30-11:45 a.m. July 18-20 at the Oak Street Park basketball court.
The fee to register is $60 per participant, and pre-registration is required.
The clinic will focus on skill development/fundamentals including ball handling and dribbling, changing directions with and without a ball, agility and jumping, ball control, offense/defense drills and basic knowledge of the game.

GENERAL
WVU bus trips
The Mountaineer Fan Club of the Eastern Panhandle has scheduled two bus trips to football games:
They are for Pitt Sept. 1 and Virginia Tech Sept. 22.
Cost is $55 per person for transportation only; folks must get their own game tickets.
The bus will leave Martinsburg (Pill & Pill Law Office) six hours prior to kickoff for the Pitt game and seven hours prior for the Virginia Tech game.
The bus will return to Martinsburg immediately after the games, both of which are Thursday nights.
To secure a spot, please pay at Pill & Pill (85 Aikens Center, Martinsburg).
Summer camps
Berkeley County Parks & Recreation is now accepting registration for these coming camps for children ages 3-12. As with all of our activities, pre-registration is required. You may register online or download any of the forms at www.mbcparks-rec.org.
TinyTots Sports Camp — $40/child — a four-day camp for children ages 3 & 4 (as of June 20). Parent participation required. From 5:30-6:30 p.m. June 22-23.
Mighty Mites Soccer Camp — $55/child — a four-day camp for children ages 4 & 5 (as of July 1). Shin guards and soccer shoes are required. From 6-7:15 p.m. July 5-8.
Mighty Mites Basketball Camp — $55/child — a four-day camp for children ages 5-7 (as of June 1). From 6-7:15 p.m. June 13-16.
Youth Flag Football Camp — $40/child — a three-day camp for children ages 7-10 as of the first day of camp. From 5:45-7:15 p.m. June 26-28.
Berkeley Summer Adventure Day Camps:
Camps will begin on June 13 and run weekly through Aug. 8. Choose either the Berkeley 2000 Rec Center or the W. Randy Smith Rec Center.
Open to ages 6-12 (children must be 6 as of 09/01/2021 and no older than 12 as of the 1st day of camp)
Themed weekly camps
$175 per child/per week ($10 multi-child OR multi-week discounts available-cannot be combined)
Camp hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (before and after care available at an extra fee)
Camp locations: Berkeley 2000 Rec Center and W. Randy Smith Recreation Center (register for one location)

Swim classes
Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation is now registering for its summer 2022 swim lessons online or in person.
The following classes will be offered:
Preschool Classes (Ages 3-5) to include 3s with parents and 3s alone. $35 per one-week session
Youth Classes (Ages 6 and up) with Levels 1-3, 4 Beginners and 4 Advanced, and Level 5. Prices range from $60-$70 per two-week session, depending on the length of the class time.
These classes run Monday–Friday. Morning or evening session are available.

WVSSAC coaching classes
West Virginia Coaching classes are scheduled to take place in June in the library at Spring Mills High School.
The session takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball clinic
Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation is offering a girls volleyball clinic
This clinic is open to girls 8-12 (as of the first day of camp).
Pre-registration is required. The registration fee is $80 per participant (there is a $5 sibling discount). It will take place from 7-9 p.m. June 27-30 at the W. Randy Smith Recreation Center in Inwood.

SOCCER
Youth soccer camps
Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for their summer soccer camps.
These camps are open to children ages 6-14 (born between Jan, 1, 2008 – Dec. 31, 2016) The dates and times offered vary by age group and instructor.
The registration fee is $55 per child Pre-registration is required.
