A six-run seventh inning was what the Moose Jaw Miller Express needed to sneak past the Medicine Hat Mavericks 10-9 on Thursday night. Brian Reyes and Nate Mensik went two-for-three at the plate with Reyes picking up an RBI. Hudson Barrett added two RBIs going two-for-four on the night.

The Moose Jaw Youth Flag-Football League is holding its championship games for each division on Saturday at the Moose Jaw Rugby Football Field. The youth divisions championships will take place at 9:00 a.m., with the senior championship game at 1:00 p.m. Following the games, there will be a ceremony, as Wendy Vincent, Co-Founder, and League President will be stepping down from her position after 11 years in the role.
In Minor Baseball…The 18U AAA Canucks dropped a 7-4 decision to the Regina Wolfpack on Thursday night. They will have a rematch against the same Wolfpack on Sunday at 6 p.m.
The 18U AA’s will be at Ross Wells Park Saturday night, as they host the Saskatoon Blue Jays.
A busy weekend ahead for the first place 15U AAA Canucks as they play four games this weekend. The first doubleheader will be on Saturday against the Saskatoon Expos at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Blackwell Diamond. Then on Sunday another doubleheader against the Southeast A’s at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Blackwell Diamond.
Head on out and cheer on the U13A Ice as they are hosting their home tournament this weekend. They will kick off the tournament on Friday night against the Lumsden Cubs at 6:00 p.m. Then two games on Saturday against the White Butte Storm in the morning at 9:00 a.m. and then the Meadow Lake Socks Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m.
