RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rapid City’s Parks and Recreation Department has released the 2022 Fall Program Guide online and it provides information on numerous activities, leagues and classes for the upcoming fall season.
Activities outlined in the Guide include figure skating and hockey activities at the Roosevelt Ice Arena, as well as recreation youth programs like youth flag football and junior and adult tennis lessons. The Guide also includes information about fall outdoor activities including disc golf, mountain bike, trail, hiking and bicycling opportunities.
The Aquatics Division at the Roosevelt Swim Center will have fall youth and adult swim lessons and programs, water exercise classes, water polo and scuba diving programs. The fall program lineup also includes Red Cross health and safety courses, lifeguard and babysitter training and CPR programs.
The Guide details class schedules for a number of programs in the Roosevelt Swim Center’s multipurpose room including fitness, conditioning yoga, fencing and Tai Chi classes.
“The fall guide is a one-stop, online opportunity to check out the dozens of programs, activities and classes that are available this fall and through the winter months,” said Lindsey Myers of the Parks and Recreation Department. “There are a number of great options for people of all ages to enjoy and experience. We invite everyone to check out the online Guide for important facility and program information.”
