STATEN ISLAND, NY — Big runs, tags and loads of fun was on the docket Saturday as the 9/11 Youth Flag Football League played week two of its regular-season schedule in Bloomingdale Park.

Advance photographer Derek Alvez captured a great deal of the action in boys’ and girls’ games, which were contested most of the day.

The regular season will run until late May, while the playoffs are scheduled to kick off in early June.
