The New York Jets have released an eight-part documentary series that takes an in-depth look at the inaugural season of a New Jersey girls’ high school flag football league formed in partnership with Nike.
The series, that can be seen below and on the Jets’ YouTube channel, documents the entire season, from the launch of the league to the championship played at MetLife Stadium, home of the Jets.
With the help of the Jets, Nike and the North Jersey Football Conference (NJSFC), eight schools participated in the inaugural season. The teams played a six-game regular season along with a postseason tournament.
Passaic County Technical Institute won the first-ever title with an 18-1 win against Irvington in the championship game.
