the Everett Elite Flag Football U14 team from the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club won the NFL Flag Football Northwest regional tournament Oct. 30 in Tacoma.
The Everett Elite Flag Football 14-under team from the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club won the Northwest regional championship at the NFL Flag Football Tournament Oct. 30 in Tacoma.
The team went 3-0 in the tournament, defeating South Seattle 13-12 in the title game. The victory means Everett will advance to the NFL Flag championship Feb. 4-6 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The players are Lavanta McMillan, Jacob Hiatt II, Jameson Malysheff, Noah Erhart, Tristan Lolohea, and Julian Wilson. The coach is Jacob Hiatt.
The team, which started as a recreational 6- and 7-year-old squad, is currently ranked sixth nationally and is 18-0 for the season.
