SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni is hosting a youth flag football tournament at American International College on Saturday.
According to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, this inaugural tournament is in partnership with the Excel Sports Academy of New England and is designed for children ages 10 and under. The county-wide event is expected to start with check-in at 9 a.m. and officially begins at 10 a.m. at Ronald J. Abdow Field in Springfield.
This free event is open to all residents of Hampden County and promises a variety of activities for participants and attendees. In addition, there will be Nutrition and Wellness Education, a variety of vendors, food, and a special guest speaker.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together for a day of fun, fitness, and learning. This tournament is a fantastic opportunity to promote healthy living and community spirit among our youth,” said Gulluni.
