They are kind, caring and thoughtful.” It’s important to find things we are thankful and grateful for in tough times, so make sure to check back in daily to hear what your Huntington neighbors have to say! - Town Board expected to take up Matinecock Court development. The decades-old Matinecock Court housing battle returns to the Huntington Town Board tonight for another vote. The meeting starts at 7 tonight, at Town Hall. Councilman Ed Smyth states, “My biggest objection is that this is a deception perpetrated on the public. This is a rental project,” Smyth said Monday. “The limited equity given as a down payment is really a security deposit.” The opposition claims it will add increased traffic and inundate the Northport and East Northport school district.(http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
