Youth Flag Football Tutorial – Recommended Equipment for a Successful Practice

New Coaches Kit available from National Flag Football – see details here: https://national-flag-football.myshop

Whether you are coaching a team, or are a parent/family member/friend working with your player throughout the week, here is a quick tutorial on the equipment you need for a successful practice.

5 Must-Have Items:
Cleats – needed for cutting, speed, agility, and preventing slips
Appropriate-sized Football – make sure to get the right size, so practice translates to effective gameplay
Wide Receiver Gloves – needed to successfully catch any ball thrown their way. You’ll see a big difference here. Make sure to get wide receiver football gloves that fit perfectly.
Cones – you can use canned goods or boxes if needed. I like different covers for various components of my drills.
Flags – get a bag of flags at our online store if you don’t have them. Visit us at www.FlagFootballShop.com

You can take it to the next level and use tennis balls, QB nets, parachutes, and so much more. Let me know if you need some other recommendations.
