Coach Turner’s Holiday Classic: The Fight to End Alzheimer’s
Coach Turner’s Holiday Classic on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th, 2022 beginning at 10:00 am at Tiger Hollow (700 N Salem Road).
Coach Turner’s Holiday Classic is a flag football tournament dedicated to Coach John Turner, who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s six and a half years ago and is still fighting today. As a youth football coach to his three sons, and many more young men, Coach Turner instilled the lasting values of toughness and courage in the face of adversity. Today and every day for the last 6.5 years, he has embodied those values with an unmatched spirit.
At its core, this event is an opportunity for the people of Ridgefield to show their gratitude to a great coach and an even better man, who has supported countless young men and women throughout their athletic and academic endeavors. All event proceeds will go to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, in support of their inspiring research.
Thus, we ask you to join us for a Christmas Eve morning filled with football, food, and fun — all for an important cause.
