Good News-Team KXLG Flag Football Wins Tournament | Local News

Flag Football is an excellent program hosted by the Watertown Park and Rec every fall.  The players consist of 1st and 2nd graders ready to hit the gridiron for the first time.  This last weekend, the Watertown Park and Rec hosted a three-on-three flag football tournament and Team KXLG took 1st place!

This was the second year in a row that Team KXLG won the tournament held at Mount Hope Fields.  The kids went undefeated, winning all four games in the tournament.  Players included Hudson Goar, Graham Mancell, Atwood Turbak, and Brody Herrboldt.  The coaches were Jeremy Herrboldt and Andy Turbak.

For more information on the program, visit www.watertownsd.us and click on the Parks-Recreation-Forestry tab.  We have included a picture of the team on our website at mykxlg.com.
