City Establishes Small and Minority/Woman Business Recovery Assistance Program
The City is offering a new loan program to help small businesses and minority-/woman-owned business in the city recover from the negative economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Expanded Fall Festivities Announced
From concerts and costumes to a new Clematis by Light, the city has fall-themed activities covered. Clematis by Fright will anchor the month-long celebrations. All events will take place on or near the Great Lawn, located at 100 N. Clematis St.

At a meeting of the city commission on October 4, 2021, the Mayor’s Task Force for Racial and Ethnic Equality, led by co-chairs Michelle Diffenderfer and Patrick Franklin, presented recommendations for consideration by Mayor James and the commission. The recommendations are the culmination of more than 300 hours of work and repeated engagements with stakeholders by 43 diverse community representatives who responded to Mayor’s call for a more equitable West Palm Beach

WPB Wins!: 9 Homeless Individuals Housed in Less Than 48 Hours
In collaboration with Gulfstream Goodwill, two of our homeless outreach specialists, Allie Severino and Henry Mercy, were able to secure housing for 9 local homeless indivuals in less than 48 hours.
