Little Egg Harbor Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a one vehicle crash in which a pedestrian on a bicycle was injured Thursday night.

Police were alerted about the crash around 6:39 pm on Thursday along Lake Champlain Drive near Twin Lakes Boulevard.
The driver, a 25-year old woman from Little Egg Harbor, was heading south in a 2012 Mercedes on Lake Champlain Drive approaching Twin Lakes Boulevard when police said that she failed to stop at the stop sign.
She then collied with a 46-year old woman from Staten Island who was riding by on a bicycle.
The woman was then airlifted from the accident scene to Jersey Shore Medical Center for her injuries.
Her current condition as of Friday afternoon is unknown.
Little Egg Harbor Police said that summonses have not currently been issued.
The collision remains under investigation.
