In light of the postponing of the Back to School Dance until Saturday, October 9, a special class-level event for pre-freshman took place on August 20 at John Ryan Stadium. With plenty faculty and staff on hand, the night went off without a hitch.
Plenty of water, jambalaya, and smiles were had as students participated in activities ranging from frisbee and spikeball to the highly anticipated homeroom flag football tournament. When the dust settled, homeroom 801 delivered a thrilling overtime win to secure a much-deserved championship—and a pizza party for everyone in the homeroom.
Over the three hour event, new friendships were made made and old ones were renewed on a beautiful night at The Ryan.
