  1. With pricing coming back to school lunches, Hoover City Schools released their new school meal guidelines. Families wanting to receive free and reduced-price meals must apply no later than Aug. 31. Breakfast in elementary schools will cost $1.75 and $2.00 at secondary schools.   2. Three open houses are coming up this weekend. If you’re looking for a new home, now is the time to check out these properties.
