- Cipriano Zonin mobile pizzeria is already winning over fans throughout the Tampa Bay area. The mobile pizzeria features seeks to use high-quality Italian ingredients including imported Italian plum tomatoes, Luganiga sausage, imported Italian double-zero flour, house-made Sicilian cream sauce, and more. Pizza is served by the slice and is about $4 to $5 per slice. (Tampa Patch)
- Tampa’s “Boom by the Bay” Independence Day celebration is returning to Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on Saturday, July 1. The celebration will include food trucks, a free concert, a pickleball tournament and apple pie bake-off for guests to enjoy. The event will build up to a fireworks show as well. (WFLA)
- A 75-foot sinkhole has formed in Polk County off of Scott Lake Road, just south of Fitzgerald Road in southern Lakeland. Authorities are monitoring the sinkhole. The sinkhole was growing on Friday afternoon and is located on private property. (Fox 13)
- St. Pete Pride’s LGBTQ+ Youth & Family Day is happening today at North Straub Park starting at 10 a.m. St. Pete Pride said the event will be family-friendly and include vendors discussing adoptions. The event comes amid a slew of anti-LGTBQ+ legislation in Florida. (ABC Action News)
- City Brew Tours Tampa is offering craft beer tours for Tampa fans of the growing craft beer industry. Tampa currently has over 100 breweries. Participating breweries for the tours include BarrieHaus Beer Co., Bastet Brewing, Big Storm Brewing, Rock Brothers Brewing, Cigar City Brewing and Southern Brewing & Winery. (Tampa Patch)
